cargo-partner expands on its Europe to Asia service

International transport and logistics provider, cargo-partner, has expanded its service offering from Europe to Asia, in addition to its transport solution in the opposite direction.

This route also includes shipments to India and Southeast Asia in addition to the “classic” destinations in China, taking advantage of the current competitive price rates.

The recent increase in demand for imports from Asia and the longer transit times for services around the Cape of Good Hope have led to a massive shortage of empty containers in Asian ports, reported cargo-partner.

As a result, shipping lines are now keen to get this equipment back into their regular westbound trades as quickly as possible. To enable companies exporting from Europe to benefit from this advantageous and cost-effective situation, the logistics provider has enhanced its ocean freight service offering on this route.

cargo-partner offers regular departures from northern European ports such as Rotterdam, Antwerp, Hamburg, and London. In addition, depending on region and catchment area, departures from Genoa, Piraeus, various ports in Türkiye and the Black Sea as well as the Adriatic ports of Koper and Rijeka are available upon request.

The company’s comprehensive road transport network reportedly allows it to provide customers in Western, Central, and Eastern Europe with flexible end-to-end solutions from a single source.

These FCL connections currently provide high equipment availability and serve destinations in Southeast Asia and India, including Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Kolkata, Chennai, Ho Chi Minh City, Singapore and many more.

All of cargo-partner’s FCL services are offered as door-to-door solutions, including pre- and on-carriage by road, customs clearance and comprehensive logistics services through the company’s warehouse network in both Europe and Asia.

In addition, cargo-partner provides real-time tracking information via the SPOT supply chain management platform SPOT using “Intelligent Container Tracking”.

Late last year, cargo-partner announced the launch of its new cross-border road transport solutions between the US, Canada and Mexico.
