COSCO SHIPPING has launched the Nanchang-Qinzhou-Vietnam and Guiyang-Qinzhou dedicated trains for domestic and foreign trade.

The “Nanchang-Qinzhou-Vietnam” dedicated train – jointly launched by COSCO SHIPPING and JMC and fully loaded with auto parts – departed from Nanchang International Land Port on 13 June and arrived at Qinzhou Port on 16 June.

The company said the trains aim to build uncongested industrial and supply chains, whilst helping small and medium-sized enterprises reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance foreign trade competitiveness.

This is the first dedicated train launched by COSCO SHIPPING in the Jiangxi Province for the new western land-sea trade corridor.

The other Guiyang-Qinzhou dedicated train was recently launched carrying 60 TEU of bauxite – 48 TEU for domestic trade and 12 TEU for foreign trade.

Earlier this month, COSCO SHIPPING SPE. signed an agreement to enter the blockchain-based Global Shipping Business Network (GSBN).

The companies held a virtual cooperation agreement signing ceremony on 1 June, officially inaugurating COSCO SHIPPING SPE. as a new member of the consortium.
