Portchain has announced that DP World (DPW) Dakar will join the Portchain Connect network.
DPW Dakar will utilise Portchain Connect to improve the quality and timeliness of its berth alignment with clients by leveraging digital handshakes and secure data sharing.
Portchain Connect will enable DPW Dakar to receive real-time schedules and move count updates directly from carrier systems. This will in turn allow DPW Dakar to respond and counter-propose rapidly in order to align the vessel schedule with the terminal berth plan.
