DP World Plans AI, IoT and Blockchain Future with Oracle

DP World will use Oracle software to create intelligent logistics through artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, Internet of Things (IoT) and blockchain.

The global port operator will use the Oracle Cloud Applications platform across its business operations and sectors in the global supply chain such as industrial parks, free zones and logistics.

Oracle, an American multinational computer technology corporation, has developed its cloud applications to improve a businesses' performance through the management of customer engagement, human resources, resource planning, supply chains, Internet of Things (IoT) applications and software-as-a-service (SaaS) analytics. 

DP World Group Chairman and CEO Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem and Oracle Business Applications Senior Vice President (ECEMEA) Arun Khehar, signed the agreement on January 31, 2018.
