With a total area of 73 hectares, HHIT port includes two main wharves with a total length of 900 metres, and can simultaneously receive two containerships with a tonnage of 200,000 DWT and a barge berth with a length of 200 metres.

HHIT Port is invested in and built by Hateco Group according to the Green Port – Smart Port orientation with a synchronous infrastructure system from warehouses, wharves, and parking areas.

This will be the first smart port in Vietnam able to welcome the world’s largest ships and go directly from the farthest places such as the West Coast and East Coast of the US.

Berths 5 and 6 are the largest deep-water port project in the North invested by Hateco Group.

Last week, DP World Southampton welcomed the first ship to arrive under the Gemini Cooperation arrangement.
