HMM is convinced that this enhanced service will provide more efficient transportation options, strengthening trade relationships and promoting economic growth in these regions.

The enhanced FIL service was celebrated with a presentation of plaques from HMM Indonesian branch and New Priok Container Terminal One (NPCT1).

In February 2023, HMM announced that it secured contracts for nine 9,000 TEU containerships powered by methanol dual-fuel engines.
