Kaiko Systems launches Vessel Health Map

Kaiko Systems has introduced a new Vessel Health Map to monitor the current condition of a vessel, providing a comprehensive view of its health.

By using colour-coded visualisations and 3D models, the Vessel Health Map translates massive volumes of inspection data into simple, actionable insights, giving you a complete picture of a vessel’s health.

Kaiko Systems highlighted that all regions of the main shipping deck, enclosed rooms, and equipment onboard were detailed in a 3D format, providing clarity to complicated data.

Users can access a multi-layer overview that shows the state of various portions of the vessel, including the main deck, enclosed compartments, and equipment.

The technology aims to highlight areas with the most frequent discoveries, and corrosion levels throughout the vessel may be visualised on-screen.

The programme may subsequently create reports for internal use or distribution to external stakeholders, such as ship and cargo owners, that can be tailored by filtering vessel components and dates.

Kaiko Systems also noted that maintenance tasks and their progress may also be seen on the map.

Recently, WNS, a provider of global digital-led Business Process Management (BPM) solutions, announced its strategic relationship with Pacific International Lines (PIL).
