Kalmar has delivered a new hybrid straddle carrier to DP World Southampton.
The crane company has agreed to provide 14 more hybrid straddle carriers to DP World Southampton.
The major order was secured in Kalmar’s Q2 2024 order intake, with delivery expected for Q2 2025.
The port has been using Kalmar straddle carriers since 2007. This order brings the total number of Kalmar straddle carriers at the terminal to 82.
