Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD Group) has announced that it has commenced main road landscaping works across 288,000 square-metre in KEZAD AL Ma’mourah.
The AED 42 million ($11 million) project includes landscaping of 24 kilometres of main roads and roundabouts in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah.
The project also involves the planting of 350 various types of trees along the highways, as well as the plating of bushes and hardscaping over a 120,000 square-metre area.
Furthermore, KEZAD aims to build irrigation pumping stations and water tanks that will be linked to the KEZAD wastewater treatment facility.

The improvements, which aim to significantly improve traffic flow and facilitate the movement of goods are being carried out in collaboration with relevant government agencies such as the Abu Dhabi Municipality and the Integrated Transport Centre, among others, as well as local businesses to ensure the smoothest possible workflow at a rapid pace.

“As with the recently started project in KEZAD Musaffah (ICAD 1), the improvement of the road network system in KEZAD Al Ma’mourah is aimed at developing a faster and more efficiently connected economic zone.

KEZAD Group has announced an AED 55 million ($14 million) infrastructure renovation in KEZAD Musharraf (ICAD 1) spanning 40,000 square metres and 23 kilometres of roadways.
Both projects are expected to be finished by the third quarter of 2024.
