Marcura, a digital maritime solutions corporation, has acquired Shipster, a start-up that specialises in artificial intelligence (AI)-powered document intelligence.
Marcura has already implemented AI-powered automation throughout its offerings, with AI agents assisting clients in automating Charter Party interpretation, gaining predictive insights for operational choices, and identifying contractual hazards.
Shipster’s expertise in agile AI experimentation will assist Marcura in refining data extraction, automating resource-intensive operations, and providing even greater efficiency to its clients.
