MICT processes record TEU

Manila International Container Terminal (MICT), International Container Terminal Service, Inc.’s (ICTSI) main terminal, has reached another milestone by processing its 50 millionth TEU.

MICT unloaded the 50 millionth TEU container from the MV Seabreeze, operated by Ocean Network Express (ONE). The ownership of the cargo belongs to HRD Singapore PTE Ltd.

MICT has been utilising cutting-edge technology since its inception in 1988 at the Port of Manila, making it a pioneer in innovation in the Philippine port business.

ICTSI recently reported audited consolidated financial results for 2023 posting revenue from port operations of $2.39 billion.

Additionally, ICTSI subsidiary company, Manila Harbor Center (MHC), unveiled a new name, logo and website as part of a strategic rebranding initiative in 2024.
