MSC resumes Asia to US East Coast service

Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) has announced the resumption and improvement of the solo service ‘Liberty’.

According to MSC, Liberty aims to provide extra capacity for the continued healthy demand in the transpacific market and competitive transit times onto the US East Coast.

As part of this upgrade, the shipping company is launching a new direct line to Philadelphia to meet current market demands.

From Singapore to Philadelphia, the transit period is 40 days.

The first sailing will depart from Singapore on 8 August.

The full rotation is as follows: Singapore – Shanghai – Busan – Miami – Savannah – Charleston – Philadelphia – New York – Singapore

Recently, MSC announced adjustments to its standalone services Swan and Britannia.
