Mundra Port berths one of the longest containerships

Mundra Port, the flagship port of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), has berthed one of the world’s largest vessels, the MSC Hamburg.

The containership was constructed in 2015 and moored at Adani Ports Mundra on 2 July 2023.

The event occurred in the same month that the Geneva-based Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) and Adani International Container Terminal Pvt. Ltd.’s joint venture celebrated its 10th anniversary.

In December 2022, Mundra Port surpassed its record by handling 367 vessels.
