Ocean Network Express (ONE) has launched its new Middle East-India-Mozambique (MIM) service.
The bi-weekly product offers a direct route connecting ports in Jebel Ali (UAE), Mundra (India), and Maputo (Mozambique) and will provide a gateway option to hinterland markets in South Africa, Swaziland, and Zimbabwe.
The port rotation is as follows: Jebel Ali – Mundra – Maputo – Jebel Ali.
ONE’s MIM service starts from the sailing arriving at Mundra on 20 May 2022 for West Bound and the sailing at Maputo on 22 May 2022 for East Bound.
Earlier this week, the carrier released its operational results for Financial Year (FY) 2021, reporting a substantial increase in revenue.
For the full financial period (ending 31 March 2022), ONE’s revenue came in at $30.1 billion, doubling the previous years $14.4 billion.
This record sum was driven by challenges in the supply chain including the Russia-Ukraine war, and recent lockdowns in Shenzhen and Shanghai.
