Peel Ports Group has announced the appointment of Jason Clark as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Within this role, Clark will take lead of the Group’s finance, legal and IT functions, reporting into CEO, Claudio Veritiero.
According to Peel Ports, Clark brings a wealth of experience with him, with a career background over the last 25 years encompassing senior finance leadership positions for infrastructure businesses across the maritime, airports and energy sectors.
Clark also reportedly has a strong track record in successfully leading his teams and joins the group at a pivotal time to further support and drive growth and investment plans.

Clark’s most recent position was Chief Financial Officer for Smart DCC, the operator of the national data communications infrastructure for the UK’s energy smart metering network.
Prior to that, he was CFO at Bristol Airport and Condor Ferries, following a long career in the energy industry at RWE, most recently as UK Finance Director.
Peel Ports ensured that Clark’s appointment as CFO will contribute to the Group’s strategic efforts as a key member of the Group Board and Executive Team, drawing on his expertise running finance divisions for investor-owned infrastructure enterprises.
In January, the group appointed Marcus Connolly as its new Strategic Commercial Director to improve global container operations.
