Pacific International Lines (PIL) has announced the renewal of its call to Zanzibar, Tanzania through the launch of the Zanzibar Shuttle (ZNS).
The service will commence from Mombasa, Kenya on 16 March.
This service will be a feeder between Mombasa and Zanzibar.
The port rotation of the service is: Mombasa – Zanzibar – Mombasa.
“From Mombasa, cargo will be routed to and from the Far East, via PIL’s existing dedicated network,” PIL said in a statement.

PIL anticipates that this service will improve its global connectivity through its key Asian gateways to its extensive network in East Africa.
This announcement comes less than a month after PIL partnered with Lloyd’s Register’s fleet optimisation experts i4 Insight to reduce emissions and maximise fleet performance.
