The Port Authority of Valencia (PAV) handled 461,121 TEU in July, a 5.64 per cent increase over the same month last year.
In terms of weight, the Valencian docks loaded and unloaded 6.75 million tonnes of goods (1.22 per cent more than in July 2023).
Since the beginning of the year and up to 31 July, 3.16 million TEU have gone through Valenciaport, 12.74 per cent more than in the same period last year, or 47.61 million tonnes, a 6.10 per cent increase.

Transferring this traffic to an interannual period (the last 12 months), the port is at the service of the foreign sector; facilities that transport 79.48 million tonnes, or 5.15 million TEU. These values represent growth of 5.56 per cent and 8.62 per cent, respectively, in one year.
According to the PAV Statistical Bulletin, there have been declines in bulk traffic (-27.53 per cent), empty containers (-5.78 per cent), and exports (-5.81 per cent) since last July.
These monthly declines were balanced out by gains in containerised general cargo (+9.10 per cent), import containers (+7.24 per cent), and transit containers (+18.65 per cent).
