Yanbu Industrial Port has received its first RoRo vessel

King Fahad Industrial Port in Yanbu has welcomed the arrival of the Höegh Sydney, marking the first-ever RoRo vessel received through transshipment.

This milestone was made possible by the partnership with global maritime transportation services provider, Höegh Autoliners. The ship carried a total of 1,984 cars.

Last year, the port received the Italian ship Jolly Bandiyo, carrying vehicles for the Dakar Rally 2023, including 712 cars, 5 helicopters, 22 containers, and 61 motorcycles.

In October 2023, MAWANI won the Advanced Port Infrastructure Award at the Landmarks in Logistics Awards 2023, held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

More recently, MAWANI and MELDOG, the logistics arm of the Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), invested a value exceeding 150 million riyals ($40 million) to the integrated Logistics Park at Dammam’s King Abdulaziz Port.
