ZPMC is set to deliver the first batch of four units of dual-trolley Automated Quayside Container Gantry Cranes (QCs) for TUAS PSA Singapore, carried by the Zhenhua 26 which sailed out of Shanghai on 25 September.

For this TUAS PSA Singapore project, ZPMC will deliver 20 units of dual-trolley Automated QCs and 56 units of Automated Rail Gantry Cranes (ARMGs) in total, which paves the way for ZPMC’s increasing market presence in Singapore.

In a statement ZPMC said, by adopting innovations, such as a new generation of secondary trolley system, the visualized twisk-lock coning/de-coning detection system, the intelligent-based automatic crane control system, etc., the dual-trolley Automated QC becomes smarter and more efficient. Meanwhile, the speed of the main trolley can reach 270M/M, and the secondary trolley, 130M/M.

In July 2020 ZPMC delivered six automatic rubber mounted gantry (RMG) cranes to the Tusas mega-port in Singapore.

The first phase of the Tuas mega-port is due to open in 2021 and will be finished and full operational by 2040. By the time it is fully operational it will have a capacity of 65 million TEU.
