As more and more countries experience extreme weather conditions resulting from climate change – including increasingly hot days, droughts, heavy downpours causing flooding and landslides – ‘decarbonisation’ has become an ever-more pressing issue that all governments must work together to address. At the same time, the private sector has an equally important contribution to make.
